Link’s House BOTW Mockup
A small personal project to recreate Link’s House area in Hateno (Zelda Breath of the Wild) in a Low-Poly Pixelart style in UE4.
-Unreal Engine 4 -Aseprite ( Texturing )
-Photoshop ( Additional texture work ) -Blender ( Modeling, Texturing, Rigging, Animation )
To achieve the look I was after I utilized a couple of post-process materials.
First, a cel shader to simplify the lighting.
Secondly, I added fake fog to create depth without it affecting the cel-shading.
Finally, I added a pixelate post-process material.

Additionally, I attempted to remake the blue flame's from the Hateno area in the game. It started out as a much simpler cel-shaded version to fit the low-poly pixel art style of the project but I got carried away and decided to replicate the original just for fun.
Procedurally generated utilizing scrolling noise textures, masks, and UV distortion.
